Bergamot & Vetiver Body Butter

This luscious Bergamot & Vetiver Body Butter will help to maintain the wonderful feeling of calm and relaxation you feel after showering or bathing whilst giving your skin the pampering it deserves. Made with a succulent blend of mango, shea and cocoa butters combined with awesome sweet almond and olive oils, it's formulated to be intensely nourishing, moisturising and hydrating.   Best applied straight after bathing, but can be applied before bed, here's more about the ingredients:

*  Mango butter is anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and a well absorbed highly moisturising oil that also reduces irritation from environmental fstressors.  It is rich in vitamins C and E, plus the antioxidant mangiferin, all of which are important for the nourishment and protection of skin;

* Shea butter is an emollient so it keeps moisture in the skin.  It is anti-inflammatory, lessens disturbance from environmental stressors, and it is anti-aging with the triterpenes in it helping keep skin in better condition.  There is some evidence it may help with eczema too;

* Sweet almond oil is an emollient and moisturiser that's rich in skin-protecting and restorative vitamin E, another good anti-aging skin ally with a long history of use in skincare;

* Olive oil is another anti-inflammatory and antioxidant moisturiser so it helps keep skin looking younger and is nourishing, moisturisng and protective.  It contains vitamins A, D, E and K and has some antibacterial properties

* Cocoa butter is an emollient and moisturising oil that's rich in vitamin E and well absorbed.  It can help ease itching and dermatitis;

* Vitamin E in the form of tocopherol is also included in the body butter because it helps to extend the shelf life of the body butter;

* Bergamot essential oil has an uplifting citrus, slightly spicy aroma that refreshes and calms.  It is the main component of this body butter's scent. The bergamot oil used in Bones loves Bubbles' products is bergaptene-free so it can be used on skin without risk of damage being caused to it in sunlight;

* Vetiver essential oil essential oil has a grounding, earthy scent which is warming, soothing, and may help to reduce anxiety.  It complements the bergamot beautifully.

* Both bergamot and vetiver essential oils are used in aromatherapy for insomnia
