We want you to enjoy your experience of shopping with Bones loves Bubbles so to help make sure all goes as smoothly as possible for you, things you need to know are outlined below.
Buying from Bones loves Bubbles
When you buy any of our handmade cosmetic products you can be sure they comply with current UK cosmetic regulations. Amongst other things, this means they have been tested for safety by a cosmetic chemist and our labels include information it's important you have.
You can pay for your online purchases by debit card, credit card or Pay Pal.
Online purchases in the UK are protected by the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
We aim to send out orders within 3 working days of when they are placed. At busy times of year, and occasionally for other reasons, this may not always be possible, but when that's the case we will send your order as quickly as we can. If your order is urgent your best option will be to select Tracked 24 postage and to tell us when you order. We will confirm dispatch once your order has been sent.
Orders are sent via Royal Mail. You choose your preferred postage type at checkout from 1st Class, 2nd Class, Tracked 24, Tracked 48, or 'Click and Collect.' Click and Collect is a good choice for people who live in the Lancaster area and want to avoid postage costs. When you select this option we will email you to arrange a mutually convenient day, time and place for collection within central Lancaster.
Requests to leave an order in a 'safe' place
If you are not in when your order is delivered and have requested that the parcel is left in a 'safe' place, please note that Bones loves Bubbles cannot be held responsible if it goes missing from that place.
What to do if you think your order has been lost in the post
Sometimes post takes longer to arrive than usual after posting, especially around holiday times, but most parcels arrive within 2 weeks of posting. If yours doesn't, please get in touch with us and we'll look into it for you.
What to do if you change your mind about your order
We hope you are delighted with your order but, if not, you have the right to cancel it within 14 days of placing it.
We buy postage once orders are prepared and before taking them to the Royal Mail Delivery Office, so please note that if we have already paid for postage but haven't yet posted your order, we will only refund the cost of the items ordered, not the postage.
Step 1 - Contact us by email or our website contact form with your name, order number and order details, to let us know you have changed your mind.
Step 2 - If the order has already been sent to you, pack the items in their original state, unused and in saleable condition, and return them to us. It is your responsibility to repay the cost of sending the order back to us, and in the condition it was sent to you, so please make sure you wrap it securely.
Step 3 - When you take your parcel to the Post Office, please ask for proof of postage in case we don't receive it here.
We will refund you when we receive your items unused, in their original state and in saleable conditions. Although when we refund you we do so when your items reach us in saleable condition, it may take a few days before the money reaches your account.
What to do if your items arrive damaged
Sometimes parcels are damaged in transit after we've sent them. If this happens with your order and your items arrive spoiled, please let us know within 7 days of when you receive them.
Step 1 - Take a photo of the damage to the delivery box
Step 2 - Take a photo of the spoiled items that clearly shows the damage to them
Step 3 - Contact us using email or the contact form on this website and let us know what has happened, giving the order number and details. We will reply telling you what to do next.
