Hebron Glass produces Phoenician Glass by hand in the Occupied Territories. To overcome the restrictions they face under Occupation they recycle glass from local families and businesses.  They also reclaim fuel from local garages in their business. This makes the glass much more sustainable.

The family running Hebron Glass has been doing so for centuries and have refined their production methods in that time, but the technique used is an ancient one first introduced to the area around 50BC.  It is a glass blowing technique that is different to the glass blowing familiar to us in the UK.  In the course of this type of glass blowing air bubbles can be produced on the surface and then burst during cooling. These can create what may appear to be slight colour separation or damage on the surface of the product but this is not the case.  It is a feature of the technique used.
