These beautiful soft Harris Tweed hot water bottle covers are hand made in Scotland by a gifted textile artist whose preferred medium is Harris Tweed, a fabric unique to the Outer Hebrides. This is made from 100% wool from the Outer Hebrides that's dyed, spun and woven in the Outer Hebrides. To show the fabric's authenticity the hot water bottle covers feature a label depicting the Harris Tweed Orb. Harris Tweed is an important industry for the islands' economic viability.

If you've never experienced the heat retaining properties of wool around a hot water bottle you'll be amazed at the difference it makes to how long the water stays hot. Thanks to a talented and kind friend who wove a couple of wool covers for my hot water bottles I can tell you that the water is still nice and warm the following morning, meaning you can enjoy the comfort of warm toes and body in the morning as well as at night. Natural is fabulous!
